Information
Hardly a beach really, more of a stony slipway and embarkation point for boat trips to Skomer Island. Also popular with divers and it can be a cool place to kayak from. A NT car park is available 200m from the 'beach' and toilets can be found on the road to the beach.

SCUBA DIVING

Martins Haven is a top shore dive site. If your as fit as you should be to dive, you can swim out to the point (right hand side) or drop before, and experience a top dive site. Corals dead mens finders, numerous fish, kelp forests, spider crabs, sea slugs, lobsters, sea urchins, the list is endless. If you're lucky you might come across a harbour seal, or the odd dolphin.

As you arrive let the guy at the gate know you're diving and he will allow you down with the car. you would really struggle to get a decent sized boat out, but there is really no need.

Be aware, the boat that takes trips to Skomer is pretty regular, although is an experienced captain, and check with locals if unsure of the way the water moves, as some times of year it can have a rip from right to left just outside of the bay.

Go and enjoy it, it's top. just arrived home from a 22.9m dive 45mins water temp 18C, what more can a diver wish for?!?!
